Lack of access to finances have destroyed many dreams or prevent then from happening. Sometimes we have tried to reach out to banks for loan and we get stunned at the difficult in accessing the loan couple with intimidating interest. In order to let everyone live their dreams ATEENS as designed a crowdfunding plans for members that are interested in getting money to meet up their needs  or for a business startup without paying interest. Because loan is not easily accessible and help is not coming from anyone or government, we must help ourselves to achieve our dreams. Time is fast running out and there is a need to do something for one another.
We know that our members will need support financially. So, we have come up with this idea  of contributions for our members. This crowdfunding contribution will let members achieve their goals.
These services will be carried out based on request from members to start a business or use loan for something. It is a crowdfunding for members of this group that is in need of loans to start a business.
Minimum amount a member can donate is N 1,000 and maximum amount is N 2,000.
To qualify for this service, member must fulfill the following conditions:
1. Must be Registered as ATEENS Member;
2. Must have been on a member for 3 month Actively commenting on the members posts;
3. Bank Account name and face book name or National ID card name must be the same;
4. Profile picture and ID card picture must be the same;
5. Current place of residence must be stated and proven with utility bill;
6.  Members at least 3 ATEENS  and Admin other than your friends will recommend you after your request for loan.
Once the member fulfills these conditions stated above, then we will publish his/her account details for members to donate.
These conditions are necessary to prevent future abuse of this service and also they are subject to amendment when the need arises.
In this project, you repay when you contribute to other member loan requests. This means by the time you have obtained loan, say N 10,000  you will have to contribute for  10 people to offset the loan.

Just as if it were yesterday when you had to start off school as a JSS1 student, still remember what your box looked with lots of provisions in it. Am sure the memories of having to serve punishments, cut grasses, and copy voluminous notes still remain unforgettable events. But like the grasses wither away everything is now history. What looked like six long years is all over now. There’s an important lesson to learn here. Just as your secondary school experience has become history, the same way every challenge that looks like a big mountain before you would soon be gone. A wise man once said, “Challenges are the breakfast of champions.”

At the moment it might just look like university admission is not coming your way, perhaps you even have to go on the second missionary journey to the city of WAEC when your mates cleared all their papers. Listen friends a short while from everything from now would become history if only you can stand…

Wait a moment. Do you realize that at the moment no matter how good you are in current affairs or in debate you cannot represent your school in the next bournvita brain match. Sometimes I wish could go back to my Alma Mata to play for the school team. But it doesn’t matter how much I wish the opportunity is gone. Friend just as you had only one opportunity to have a secondary school education likewise you have only one chanced to live. Similarly, just as your secondary education came to pass, one day your stay on earth will become history. But what’s really important is how you spend your time here on earth. Your donation in life is quite more important that the durations perhaps what’s more thought provoking is that just as your stay in your secondary school was fixed likewise your sojourn here is also fixed?

Building a future for Africa....

African Teens Enterpreneur and Empowerment Network (ATEENS) is an organization founded to support teenagers in Africa in achieving their dreams. The organization is a revolutionary life transformer looking at the set of programmes and projects we have laid down. We have been putting all efforts to ensuring that this organization which is ready to impact millions of African teenagers comes to fruition. The organization is entrepreneurship based. It has the vision of training teenagers and empowering them across Africa. Teenage is a stage in the development of a child that requires attention. At this very age, young adults are subjected to many things ranging from sexual exploitation, peer pressure, abuses, and criminalizes just to mention but a few. The government is doing nothing to address this fragile young people. we felt this teenage stage is quite important in the life of a child. This is the time you can give them the right orientation about life. We have the mission of establishing this organization in all the 36 states of the federation including FCT and other African Countries. Our strategies are to build a strong financial base that will help us to empower these young adults across Africa through mentorship, information sharing, networking and education to achieve their dreams. Currently, we have representatives in four (4) states: Ondo, Edo, Kogi and Osun. The organization is set to collaborate with other organizations and individuals who share in our ideologies. Now, we are in the process of constituting our teams and we are currently recruiting members across the country. Some of our plan are to start centers called TEEN EVENTS CENTERS. These centers apart from standing as a point of meeting with teenagers to be educated, it is a centre where teenagers will be trained on different modern day skills that are ICT driven. The drive to have teenagers go into agriculture, Human Rights Advocacy, Nation Building etc. is what is motivating us. In fact, in the area of agriculture, we seek to establish TEENS FARM CENTERS. This will be done with the help of experts in the agriculture domain. There are a lot to discuss here but for time and space. ATEENS has developed a blue print to raise fund to achieve these goals. I will continue to update you on this and see possible areas where you can have your input.
